BP Withdrawing Some Staff From Libya
LONDON — Oil company BP says it is temporarily withdrawing some nonessential and non-Libyan staff from its office in Libya’s capital following similar action by Britain’s Foreign Office. David Nicholas, a BP spokesman, said the move is “a precautionary measure” on advice from the Foreign Office. Colombia’s ELN guerrillas free two Germans hostages
BOGOTA (Reuters) – Colombia's second-largest guerrilla group on Friday freed two German men that the rebels had held since November, the International Committee of the Red Cross said.
