Karadzic denies Bosnia war crimes as he starts defense
THE HAGUE (Reuters) – Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, accused of some of the worst atrocities in Europe since World War Two, told judges he should be praised for promoting peace, not charged with war crimes, an assertion hotly denied by victims watching the trial. Beginning his defense, Karadzic accused Bosnian Muslims of deliberately staging some of the atrocities against their own people to win international support, drawing gasps of disbelief from Muslim survivors in the gallery of the court on Tuesday. Kodak Image Sharing and Storage is Dead: 5 Alternatives
As part of Eastman Kodak’s efforts to be a much slimmer business, the imaging and photography company is restructuring, selling its online sharing and storing site, Kodak Gallery, to Shutterfly for $23.8 million in March. Kodak Gallery will close on July 2, and each user’s account will automatically transfer to Shutterfly. Users that do not want to make the transition to Shutterfly can opt out, but they can only do so before the May 28 deadline. Continue reading
