Another Regulatory Slap for JPMorgan Chase

NEW YORK (TheStreet) — JPMorgan Chase said in a regulatory filing Wednesday that it received a “Wells-type” notice in March that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission intends to bring a possible enforcement action against the bank related to its bidding practices in the organized power markets. A Wells notice is a notification from a regulator that it intends to bring an enforcement action against a company and gives the recipient of the notice a chance to argue why such an action is unnecessary. Britain’s Cameron to meet EU leaders to push reform plan

By Peter Griffiths LONDON (Reuters) – Prime Minister David Cameron hopes to overcome opposition to his plan to claw back power from Brussels when he meets the leaders of Germany, France and Spain this week for talks on Britain's future in the European Union. Cameron infuriated European allies in January when he said he would try to renegotiate terms of Britain's EU membership and ask voters in a referendum if they wanted to stay in the bloc.
